sephora play and boxycharm reviews!

okay it’s FINALLY time for me to post this! i’m sorry it took so long, it’s been a busy couple weeks. but without further ado, let’s get into this! i’ll start with my sephora box since i received that first!

sephora play!

  • trestique highlight and perfect multipurpose stick – i’ve only used this once so i can’t really say too much about it, but i think it’s pretty decent! it’s pigmented but it’s not blinding, and i love me a blinding highlight, if we’re being honest. but despite my own personal opinions on highlights, i think i’ll definitely be reaching for this more, especially for when i’m highlighting the bridge of my nose!

  • grandeLIPS hydrating lip plumper in clear – okay, i’ve been interested in lip plumpers a little bit, but never actually tried one. i tried this on the day i received it, just to see if it actually felt hydrating and to see how long it lasted. a few minutes after i put it on, i started to feel my lips tingle, and it felt weird. i don’t even know if i should call it a tingle, because what it was seemed more than a tingle, almost painful, though barely, in a way. it’s hard to describe the sensation, but with that being said, i didn’t particularly notice any actual plumping of my lips at all. i’ll be trying this out more, though!

  • tata harper resurfacing mask – i literally just took this off my skin after trying it for the first time a few moments before writing this because i realized i hadn’t tried it out yet, and i am overly impressed. normally i feel like masks or anything like that don’t actually show any type of improvement in my skin after one use, but damn. my skin feels so smooth right now, and i’m really sad i used almost the entire sample on my face because it retails for $58 so i don’t think i’ll be repurchasing it any time soon, but i literally can’t stop touching my face right now. the only downside is that it almost feels like it should be a peel-off mask when it dries because it feels so nice and tightening, but in reality you just rinse it off with warm water. i just feel like it would be a really satisfying peel-off mask. i’m going to miss this when it’s all gone the next time i use it.

  • milk makeup blur stick – i admit i was super excited to try this out because i’ve heard people talking about it for ages. it’s like a beige color but shows up as nothing on the skin, which is nice. it feels nice and smooth on the skin as well, but i’m not sure if it actually minimized some of my pores around my nose and upper cheek area or if i just wanted to believe it did. i still use it every day in that area of my face to see if there will be a difference over time, but all i can say about it so far is ehh. i like putting it on my face but i’m not sure if it’s doing what it says it will.

  • christophe robin cleansing purifying scrub with sea salt – i really wanted to try this cleansing shampoo out on day 1 because it seemed so interesting to me, as someone who just uses a garnier fructis 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner combo because i’m lazy. after a few minutes of debating whether i should actually try it out or not, since it says to follow with conditioner, and i don’t own a separate conditioner, i decided to do it anyway and i’d just not use any conditioner at all because i didn’t want to ruin it by using my regular 2-in-1 combo after it. it felt really weird to put something so… not creamy on my wet hair, but after a little bit of massaging it into my scalp and into my hair it did start to get a little bit…wetter? creamier? more shampoo-y feeling? any of those terms will suffice. my hair felt clean afterwards, but i wouldn’t say it felt cleansed. i’ll need to try this out more BUT i will say that after using it my hair wasn’t as tangled as it usually is, so whether or not that’s coincidence i’m not sure, but i’ll definitely be using this again.

  • nest fragrance in black tulip – i don’t really wear fragrances…ever, aside from the occasional spritz of ‘daisy’ by marc jacobs that i received in my april box because i’m a sucker for marc jacobs free samples. i’m not a fragrance girl. that being said, this fragrance smells… not terrible, but not like i want to put it on my body every day either? i can tell you the description says it’s part of the floral family, that it also says, “black amber plum is nuanced by the aroma of patchouli, pink pepper, and japanese violet for a scent that is as provocative as it is seductive and alluring,” but if i didn’t know any of that and you asked me to tell you what it smelled like, i’d say, ‘i have no idea, it just smells like stuff’ because what any of that stuff smells like i have no idea. honestly, though, i’ll give it a try and a few more sniffs to get a real opinion on it, but i’m just not into fragrances that much. maybe i should try. i’ll try.

BOXYCHARM!!

i was going to include pictures but the first time i tried taking them it was too dark, and it’s too dark right now, and there was only like four things anyway, but i’ll link them of course!

  • cream contour palette by beauty creations – CREAM? cream. i really did want the powder highlight and contour palette by iby beauty in my box but i’m still glad i got a contour palette because i’d been wanting one for awhile. as it turns out, i’m still technically on the hunt for a decent contour palette because i tried to use this and i feel like all of the shades are too dark and muddy-looking for me. i’m going to play around with it some more to see if maybe i can make it work for me, or maybe i went in with too heavy of a hand, but needless to say i have some practicing to do with this, and i really hope i can make it work because even though trying to use cream contours terrifies me, it’s still a beautiful contour and highlight palette.

  •  liquid glow by temptu – liquid glow?! more like liquid GOLD! when i opened my boxycharm box and saw this, i immediately opened it and put a little bit on the back of my hand and rubbed it in a little and i was amazed. it was so pigmented and gorgeous and i still reach for this every other day or so. this is one of my favorite highlighters that i own now, but i still have some others i reach for more, just because applying it with my fingers is more messy than i would care to deal with while getting ready for work.

  • round contour brush by crown pro – i have been wanting an oval/round brush or brush set for a while now so i was really stoked to see one in this box. i tried it with the cream contour palette and i didn’t care for the way the cream contour looked on me, so i do need to clean it off and try it with a foundation or something since it says it’s best for liquid or cream products. it’s incredibly soft, but i definitely need to play with this more. bonus: it also has a cool cap kind of thing to protect it!

  • convertible brow by the brow gal and brow brush by the brow gal – i tried using these dry and i didn’t find much pigmentation to them, so i still need to try using them wet as a pomade-type. i do like the brush, it’s not too thick and the spoolie is great! the colors in the palette are really nice and versatile as well and i find they match my eyebrows great, i just need to get more pigmentation to them! but these are a win in my book!

THAT’S IT FOR MY REVIEWS! I FINALLY FINISHED THEM! THANK YOU GUYS FOR BEING PATIENT WITH ME, but i hope you guys liked my reviews and as always feel free to like and leave comments or constructive criticism or whatever! oh and i’m still waiting on my ulta package to get forwarded with my new bronzer and primer, and my wet n wild summer season in a box unicorn glow kit should be here in a couple days AHHHH!!!

getting my reviews ready!

okay now that graduation weekend for my boyfriend is over, when i’m not slowly moving stuff over to our friend’s place and/or at work (most nights i get out of work at 10pm UGH), i’ll be working on my boxycharm and sephora play bag reviews! i wanted to use some of the products for a few days, so i’m going to start writing my reviews up tonight and should have them up within a few days, if not tomorrow! i also ordered the new wet n wild unicorn glow limited edition summer season in a box and i am so. excited. to get it!!! i promise my next post will have actual content!

little update!

so today i got my VERY FIRST boxycharm box and my SECOND sephora play bag so i will do a review of those in the next few days! my ulta package said it was unable to be delivered and is being forwarded because i’m moving next week (first move of two in the next few months) so once i get that i’ll do a review on those products as well! my boyfriend graduates college this weekend and next week we’re moving into our friends’ house until our big move to brooklyn at the end of the summer so i’ll be a little busy in the next couple days but i’ll definitely be reviewing my sephora and boxycharm products very soon!

yesterday’s makeup of the day!

i was going to play around with my makeup today and try to do a makeup of the day post for today, but it’s my first of two days off in a row so i decided to be lazy today, buuut tomorrow if i’m not lazy i will definitely play around with my makeup.  for some reason i’m pretty nervous about posting photos of myself here when i have no problems putting them on instagram (they look better on instagram anyway), BUT i just have to suck it up and do it, in a fake-the-confidence-til-you-make-it kind of way!

in other news, my sephora play bag just shipped and i’m SO excited, plus i purchased two items from ulta online the other day that should be here THURSDAY which i’m also excited about. i got benefit’s the POREfessional face primer in a mini size because i’ve been wanting to try it for awhile but also didn’t want to purchase the full thing in case i didn’t like it, but i’m super excited about it. i also got the fiona stiles bronzing sun veil in ahiko on sale for half off  ($10!) which i’m also super excited about because i really want to try and find a nice drugstore powder contour palette (or until i give in and purchase a high end one when i shouldn’t), i’m just going to use bronzer and the packaging looks sleek and nice and the shade looks like it’ll be gorgeous. hopefully it isn’t too light for me, but i didn’t want to risk getting the warmer shade and have it look too orangey. i really really REALLY wanted the fiona stiles multidimensional color palette, shown here because it is FLIPPIN GORGEOUS and it was on sale at ulta for $19.50, when it usually retails for $39, BUT it was sold out, and when i try to visit the product on ulta it says it’s no longer available, and i can’t find it anywhere other than ebay, where it’s of course going for over $40. SIGH. i’m rambling, i’m sorry. but i’m so sad about that palette. and excited about mail. ANYWAY LET’S GET INTO IT. i’d also like to make a disclaimer that i’m definitely not a makeup artist (as you’ll be able to tell) and i learn everything from youtube, basically. I JUST LOVE MAKEUP AND PUTTING IT ON MY FACE!!

IMG_20170515_162735IMG_20170515_162730these were taken sort of hurriedly as i was leaving for work with my phone (nexus 6p), hence my wet hair pulled back and my work clothes and the not-so-great quality. we’re also in the middle of packing because we’re moving temporarily until we move to brooklyn at the end of the summer, so apologies for the messy apartment and boxes everywhere!

what i used

  • smashbox photo finish foundation primer – i got this primer as a mini size in an ipsy bag ages ago and never cared for it until i started using it a few months ago. THEN, the day i ran out of it, which was the day i got my first sephora play bag last month, imagine my excitement when there was a sample of it in there! it’s a clear, gel, silicone-based (i believe) primer and sometimes when i put it on i can’t tell if it feels oily or greasy (something i think about a lot apparently as i’m putting it on), but at the same time it feels silky smooth and doesn’t bother me at all.  i was previously using elf’s face primer which definitely IS way too greasy and oily feeling, but even though this smashbox primer feels like it’s kind of oily as you’re putting it on, it doesn’t feel oily once you’ve applied it, if that makes sense. it makes my foundation look flawless, but i don’t know if i would pay $36 for the full size product, or even $16 for a travel size.

  • the tarte rainforest of the sea spf 15 water-based foundation in the shade ‘light neutral’ which i talk about here and i applied it with my morphe y6 brush.

  • wet n wild ultimate brow kit – i purchased this at work when it was on sale, mainly because i was out of my nyx micro brow pencil and didn’t wanna bother driving to target to get another one quite yet (i’m lazy and target is dangerous) and i must say i’ve been quite pleased with it. it has a little set of tweezers, an eyebrow wax which i don’t bother using, and two powder products: a nice ashy brown shade which fills in my brows amazingly, and a darker shade which i haven’t used because my brows are not that dark. it also has a fun pull-out mirror on the side of the product. it’s easy to work with, fills in my brows nicely, and easier to clean up mistakes than previous brow products i’ve used. overall i think it’s a decent product considering it’s a drugstore brand, but i do find that i prefer waxy eyebrow pencils, so we shall see if i purchase this again once it’s empty.

  • it cosmetics bye bye under eye anti-aging concealer – i found this in a three-drawer plastic organizer the other day and remembered i had gotten it as a sample in an ipsy bag a long time ago but never really used it because i was skeptical of trying new things back then BUT i used it yesterday and i think i liked it? i’ll have to try it more. i like the coverage it gave me, it brightened up under my eyes, but it was thicker than what i normally use, which is nyx’s hd photo concealer, and that’s more creamy, which i prefer. i applied this (and apply my nyx one) with a real techniques sponge, which desperately needs a bath.

  • bellapierre cosmetics banana setting powder – this is something i also got in an ipsy bag ages ago when i still was an ipsy subscriber, and i recently found out this powder retails for $35 so i was definitely not going to let that product go to waste. it does have a bit of a yellow hue to it but i don’t find that it takes anything away from my foundation or makes my face look yellow at all. i go between this and my wet n wild mattifying powder quite often. the only thing i have to say is that it’s pretty messy. i don’t know if a lot of powders are this messy but it’s just a loose powder without a sifter so, when the product was more full than it is now, i’d have to be pretty careful taking off the lid because powder would just get everywhere… all over my dresser, my clothes, etc.

  • physician’s formula murumuru butter bronzer – i heard good things about this product from some of my favorite youtubers and found it at work on sale and it came with their butter blush. at first when i tried this i thought it was way too orange on my skin even though i had the shade ‘light bronzer’ and i put it away in my makeup organizer and didn’t touch it again until the other day. i don’t know what i was seeing when i first put it on because i put it on the other day and i was like OH I ACTUALLY LIKE THIS, so needless to say my opinion on it quickly changed. it’s so buttery on the skin and feels amazing. i just use an elf short-top flat contour brush to apply it as a contour, and a fluffy brush to bronze around the rest of my face, and i think it looks decent. or, i hope it does. oh, and it smells like coconut, which i can’t if that’s weird or amazing. i’ll go with amazing.

  • physician’s formula murumuru butter blush – like i said, this came with the butter bronzer in the shade ‘plum rose’ and i admit i’m really not much of a blush fan, but this blush is pretty nice and ALSO has the same scent as the butter bronzer which is a nice bonus. it’s pretty light and subtle which i like, and i usually just use a fluffy angled brush to apply it sort of above my bronzer and a little over my bronzer

  • elf baked highlighter in the shade ‘moonlight pearls’ – i got this at target a few months ago and at first i was like OH HELL NO THERE’S NO PIGMENT TO THIS WHAT THE HECK but then i read that you kind of have to scrape off the first layer, so i did that and then i was in HEAVEN. this is probably the highlighter i reach for the most, with my wet n wild boozy brunch following VERY closely behind. it looks really gold online for some reason but more pinky/white-ish/gold in person, or at least i feel like it does. anyway, this is amazinggggg. you can’t really tell it’s on my cheekbones in those pictures (which saddens me), but i also use it to highlight the bridge of my nose, the tip, my cupid’s bow area, and directly under my lower lip. everyone needs this highlighter in their lives.

  • wet n wild photofocus lash primer – i never really used a lash primer before i started using this so i don’t have anything to compare it to, but i will say that i love it so much. it does its job, which is to prime my lashes, and it helps my mascara look amazing, no matter what mascara i’m using.

  • marc jacobs lash lifter gel mascara – i know, i know, the rest of what i’m wearing is mostly drugstore and inexpensive, and then i throw a marc jacobs product out there. well, honestly, i got this at least a year and a half ago (and i still have it, i know, i probably should have tossed it by now but i didn’t) at sephora and to be fair, i think i had a gift card and i had always wanted something marc jacobs and this seemed promising. well… it was and it wasn’t. it was promising in the sense that i wanted something marc jacobs and this is… well, marc jacobs. the packaging is sleek, simple, and beautiful, so there’s that. as for the product itself, honestly… it left more to be desired. i used it maybe twice when i got it and then put it in the organizer drawer never to be seen again until yesterday when i found it again and decided to see if i still didn’t care for it. guess what? i don’t. it lifted, separated, and didn’t clump which was nice, and the gel didn’t really feel any different than applying a normal mascara, but i just don’t think it’s worth it. my wet n wild lash renegade mascara works better than this. it felt like i had to apply a lot of product in order to even get my lashes where they were in these photos, and i can achieve that AND BETTER with my drugstore mascara with a lot less product used.

  • milani color statement moisture matte lipstick in the shade ‘matte naked’ – i. love. this. lipstick. it’s a gorgeous nude that adds just enough color to the lips and is perfectly matte and not drying whatsoever. my cat knocked mine off the dresser one day and it broke though (thanks, hazel), but it’s still usable and i will continue to use it until the day i can’t use it any more… and then i’ll just got buy it again. this is a perfect nude!

so that’s what i used on my face yesterday!

again, apologies for the phone photos but i didn’t get home until 10:30pm and these were taken at around 1am when it was time to take off the makeup! everything held up really well, even the foundation, which you can’t really tell since the lighting in my apartment is horrible.

thanks for reading my second post! sorry about my face! and like i said, tomorrow i’ll try and not be lazy and actually play around with my makeup and take photos so i can maybe do another makeup of the day post in the near future if there’s an interest! when i get my ulta order and my sephora play bag, i’ll definitely be doing reviews of those, probably after sunday!

first post! lengthy recent favorites + things i didn’t care for!

so today i decided to restart my blogging life. i had one on tumblr for a month or so, but decided to try blogging for real this time, so here i am, wordpress! for now this will remain text only as i don’t really have the confidence (or decent equipment) to make videos, but i hope that if anyone out there likes my posts, that you will let me know so i know whether i should keep this up or not and maybe i can expand to videos someday! anyway, i figured my first post should be things i have been digging recently, and also some things i got recently that i just want to review, so you guys can get a feel for the kinds and brands of products that i like to use on a daily basis (in no order, of course). i will make a link to everything on the brand website, and so without further ado, let’s get started!

THINGS I LOVE RECENTLY!

  1. tarte rainforest of the sea foundation with spf 15 – i wanted this foundation so badly after watching some of my favorite youtubers review it, and when tarte was having their friends and family sale, i snagged this bad boy up! i got this in the shade light neutral because apparently i refuse to believe that i am fair skinned, or am in between fair and light for some reason. i probably should have gotten ‘fair to light neutral’ because light neutral is a little darker than my skin tone, but i make it work. i love this foundation because i tend to never wear sunscreen (bad, i know!) and i can wear this foundation knowing that i have a little bit of protection on my skin. it has a dropper applicator which is amazing, and i love applying it with my morphe y6 brush, my real techniques sponge, or my ecotools sponge. it is a water-based foundation and i wouldn’t say it’s a matte finish because when i apply it – and this is just on my own skin, it may be different for someone else – it’s kind of got a natural glow to it but not too much. i have combination skin with an oily t-zone, and  i find that it is quite a bit tacky on my skin after putting it on, but once i set it with a setting powder (that i will mention soon!) it looks amazing! other products go on it seamlessly and it looks great all day long, honestly!

  2. tarte rainforest of the sea 4-in-1 setting mist – this is another tarte product i snagged up during the friends and family sale, and i got it in a travel size for i think 12 dollars, which isn’t bad. this spray claims it can be used as a primer, setting spray, hydrating mist, and skin refresher. i tried it as both a primer and setting spray and didn’t really use it for anything else. the only thing i did not like about this product is the fact that it had a pretty strong citrus scent. it smelled like oranges, i’m serious. this is clearly due to the fact that there is orange peel oil in it, but as someone who doesn’t care for citrus scents, it wasn’t my favorite thing to smell on my face as i sprayed it. other than that off-putting thing, it was amazing! i enjoyed using it as a primer and it dried pretty quickly, and the same for when i used it as a setting spray. i would definitely recommend this if strong scents don’t bother you.

  3. milani amore matte metallic lip creme – THIS. IS. A. GAME. CHANGER. i’ve been wanting to try out metallic lipstick for a while now but didn’t want to commit to paying for a higher-end product and then end up thinking it doesn’t look great on me or doesn’t feel great, so i decided to try milani’s metallic lip creme! i got it at walgreens, so you know it’s affordable, and it was my first milani product ever! i got the shade ‘overdramattic’, immediately tried it on in the car after leaving the store, and I WAS AMAZED. it looked amazing, it felt amazing and not drying AT ALL, and it was so affordable! i have since gotten the color ‘the ultimatte’ and it’s by far my favorite of the two. it’s a gorgeous purple shade with a nice metallicness to it and i have gotten so. many. compliments on it since i got it. it’s amazing and if you’ve been looking for an affordable metallic lip product, this right here is what you need.

  4. milani amore matte lip creme – sticking with the milani amore matte collection, this is just a regular matte lip creme from milani, and i have the shade ‘loved’ which is a gorgeous rusty pinky peach i’d say (i’m bad at describing makeup colors, sorry guys!), and it went on so nice and smooth and then dried to a gorrrrgeous rusty color that was super matte and gorgeous. just like the metallic lip creme, this isn’t drying either! it looks amazing and i couldn’t get over how it dried down to a complete matte finish with a little darker tone that suited my skin tone so amazingly.

  5. colourpop x kathleenlights where the night is eyeshadow foursome – i love colourpop, and i love kathleenlights on youtube so much, and i loved the colors in this foursome, so naturally i had to get it. i was so confused when i first got the package and opened the shadows because they weren’t powder, but they weren’t cream… they were a bit of a hybrid and it felt spongey. i think the hybrid formula works so amazingly, they’re easy to blend out, and they are super pigmented and look amazing! the best part? no fallout!

  6. colourpop super shock highlighter in ‘over the moon’ – this highlighter is the same kind of hybrid cream/powder/spongey hybrid that the super shock shadows are. when i first put it on, i was, for lack of a better term, shook. it is so gorgeous and not too bright but not sheen either. it’s a beautiful pink/purple combo, and it’s holographic! it makes me feel like a unicorn, kind of…

  7. morphe y6 pro flat buffer brush – this was my first ever (and only, so far!) morphe purchase a month or so ago and i’ve been using it every day since i got it. it’s so pretty with a gold handle and i love the dense, flat top that it has. unlike some of my sponges, it doesn’t soak up too much product, which is great. it blends in my cream and liquid foundations really well and leaves my skin looking flawless, so i highly recommend this brush!

  8. wet n wild mattifying powder – i honestly don’t think there’s too much i can say about a translucent powder. i love wet n wild so much though. i think they’re one of the best drugstore brands i’ve bought and i feel like they really know what they’re doing. anyway, i purchased this on a whim because a setting powder i got in an ipsy bag a while ago (the bellapierre banana powder that retails for $35 dollars or so, so i won’t be purchasing that any time soon) was almost out and i wanted a cheaper option. i love that it’s translucent so it doesn’t add any undesired color to my skin, and it takes some of my tackier foundations and completely mattifies them. so if you’re looking for a decent powder to apply over your foundation that’s incredibly affordable, THIS IS IT.

  9. wet n wild lash renegade mascara – this is my current favorite mascara. my old favorite used to be the too faced better than sex mascara, but alas i had only gotten a travel size of that and it had since run out, leaving me sad and in the market for a new mascara… until i met this one. i feel as though it does an AMAZING job at lifting and separating my lashes, while also not clumping whatsoever. it’s also nap-proof, i can tell you that! i’ve taken many-a-nap in this mascara and it still held up with no smudges or residue. that’s how you know it’s real. i consider this to be a decent dupe for the better than sex mascara. it’s affordable, amazing, oh and did i mention it’s nap-proof?

  10. wet n wild to reflect shimmer palette – i have this in ‘boozy brunch’ which is a nice gold combined with a hint of pink and deep brown. i heard some youtubers raving about this product and decided i needed to try it for myself, and oh boyyyy, am i glad i did. it’s currently the highlighter i use the most and it is gorrrrgeous. it’s perfectly pigmented and shows up as the prettiest gold highlight. i think everyone needs this in their highlighter collection.

  11. nyx micro brow pencil – want flawless brows without shelling out the money for anastasia beverly hills brow wiz? I DID! that’s not to say i don’t ever want to try the abh brow wiz, but it’s not currently in my budget range, so i settled for the nyx micro brow pencil! mine ran out recently so i do need to repurchase it on my next trip to target. i love this pencil, which is actually more like a crayon, but nonetheless. it has a spoolie on one side, and the pencil/crayon on the other and it’s nice and thin to achieve the nice hair-like strokes that you want. the only downside to me was that mine only lasted maybe a week and a half to two weeks but that could just be because i occasionally cannot get my eyebrows right and end up starting over. i even love the spoolie so much that i have kept the brow pencil until i repurchase it so that i can use the spoolie

THINGS I DIDN’T CARE FOR (this doesn’t mean they won’t work for you!)

  1. nyx gotcha covered total coverage concealer – i did like this product at first, but after a while i realized it was a little too thick of a consistency for my liking. it didn’t blend too well for me, personally. i prefer their hd photogenic concealer, as it’s more creamy and not thick whatsoever.

  2. wet n wild photofocus foundation – I WANTED SO BADLY TO LOVE THIS PRODUCT BECAUSE I KNOW SO MANY PEOPLE DO, and maybe i just need to try a different shade or something, but much to my dismay, it was not a hit for me. i got the shade shell ivory, and i probably should have gotten one that wasn’t as light as that. the three times i’ve tried wearing it, i find that it does not blend well for me at all. it also settles into the pores in my nose, which is probably the biggest reason i dislike this. i think i’m going to try it in a different shade sometime and to see if the settling still happens but until then, it’s a no from me.

  3. maybelline vivid matte color in ‘sinful stone’ – i had been eyeing this product at my work (i work at a drugstore) for quite some time and finally got the balls to purchase it, as it wasn’t a color i typically go for but it looked so pretty. when i went home to try it on, i was not impressed. it was streaky and thick-feeling and i took it off immediately. i tried it once more a week or so later to give it another shot and alas, still streaky and thick-feeling, which obviously i expected. i tried to apply more to fill in the streakiness of it but i think my lips kind of went numb…. honestly. i don’t think i’ll be trying to apply it again.

that’s it for my first post! i apologize about the length but i wanted to give you guys my honest reviews, and as i stated up there, if something didn’t work for me it doesn’t mean it won’t work for you. in fact, i hope it DOES work for you! if even one person out there likes this please feel free to comment and give me some constructive criticism, or just to tell me ‘hey! you did a good job! keep it up!” or whatever you want!
